How to Print Coloring Pages Perfectly Every Time

US Letter vs A4, borderless printing, and paper tips — a quick guide to getting clean, crisp printouts at home.

Getting a clean printout takes just a couple of settings. Here is the quick version.

Pick the right paper size

Our pages print beautifully on both US Letter (8.5×11") and A4. In the print dialog, set "Fit to page" so nothing gets cut off.

Save ink, keep it crisp

Coloring pages are black-and-white line art, so print in "Black & white" or "Grayscale" for the cleanest lines and lowest ink use.

Paper matters

Standard printer paper is fine for crayons and pencils; use slightly heavier paper if you plan to use markers to prevent bleed-through.
